I have an idea for a HARMONY fanfiction challenge. But it has a twist.

I've noticed that many HH fanfictions list Hermione's parents as Dan and Emma. An obvious homage to Radcliffe and Watson. So my idea is this.

Somehow Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson are sent back in time and to another dimension. The Harry Potter Universe.

They get married and become dentists. Then give birth to Hermione Granger. But having after playing the characters of most of their lives, the two conspire to make sure HARMONY happens.

Have I lost it?

The link is to a short article where JK Rowling basically says she now realizes Ron/Hermione was a mistake and that Harry/Hermione should have happened
I read the article yesterday and I screamed/sobbed.
Honestly as much as I ship Harry/Hermione I found that I was excited at first and then just shrugged it off. What irritates me is now all the posts I'm seeing everywhere of all the fans who don't support H/Hr who are making this seem like it's the end of the world and is cause for this huge rift in the fandom. The truth is, the series is over and it's not like this new development is going to change anything that's already happened. The books and movies are going to stay the same. I just am happy that JK Rowling acknowledges (finally) that maybe the relationship of Ron/Hermione wouldn't really work outside of a fictional setting where you can manipulate such things to work in your own favor.
I agree!  I just kinda shrugged it off too.
